description

This is a pleasant walk starting from Arkendale, passing through the picturesque village of Coneythorpe and through countryside known as Hay-a-Park (originally a royal deer park – 13th century. More recently gravel quarrying and farming). It is 7.75 miles of relatively easy walking with just the occasional incline – the steepest (not very) towards the end of the walk.
