Leaving Grassington we drop down to Linton Falls before walking across to Hebden where we gain Hebden Gill which leads us to the open moorland and the remains of the old lead mines.  We cross this former hive of industry to Yarnbury for the easy last leg of the walk which takes us to the tea rooms of Grassington.  A moderate grade walk with a variety of both close and extensive scenery which takes in clear reminders of Wharfedale’s industrial heritage.  A real treat.
