LeedsRamblers

Welcome to the walking programme of the Leeds Group of The Ramblers – your local branch of what used to be known as The Ramblers Association.

Our aim is to promote walking in the countryside by encouraging use of our footpath network paths that continue to exist to a large extent due to campaigning by The Ramblers.

The walks are suitable for most reasonably fit competent adults. You are welcome to join us on our walks. Simply turn up at the time and place and you will be most welcome. We hope you will enjoy the experience enough to regularly walk with us and become a fully paid up member of The Ramblers.

If you would like more details about any of the walks simply phone the walk leader or walks co-ordinator. We regularly arrange walks at short notice that are not listed in the West Riding programme or on our web site. If you would like to be advised of these walks please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Most of our walks are on a Saturday afternoon and there is usually a refreshment stop halfway round, so bring a flask and sandwiches if you wish. They often finish with a little socialising in the nearest pub.
