Welcome to Take a Hike – A West Yorkshire Walking Group of Mid-Life Hikers

take a hikeStep Into Adventure with Like-Minded Hikers

If you love exploring the great outdoors, meeting friendly people, and staying active, Take a Hike is the perfect group for you. We are a welcoming and sociable walking group, run by volunteers and proudly part of The Ramblers Association. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just getting back into walking, you’ll find a warm and supportive community ready to welcome you..

We have at least one walk organised every weekend (usually more!) and new members are always welcome to come along and get their boots dirty. Our walks vary from everything between easy four-mile rambles to masochistic fourteen-mile hikes across the dales so you will always find something suited to your tastes.
